Another b-day thread

I have a birthday coming up soon and there are threads here from time to time for guys asking for advice on what (who) to do for their birthdays.

I was more wondering how many guys do something special for their birthdays. I have not decided what I will do for mine yet since it will be a pretty busy weekend for me, but the idea of setting up something is very tempting.

Also, I have seen some providers give specials for their birthdays and their birthday weeks. I have see other providers take the week off or at least the day off. What do some of the providers around here do to treat themselves on their birthdays?

I haven't "celebrated" a birthday since I turned 21. Nobody I work with knows my birthday and it took years for my family to accept the fact that I don't want any recognition. The whole thing just seems kinda silly to me. But maybe that's just because I'm an asshole?

Aw heck! I celebrate my birthday at least once a month! Sometimes with the same lady also!!

Birthdays can be a good excuse to go out with friends and family and do other things. Most of the time I try to let it slip by unnoticed which works out pretty well since most people are thinking about Christmas.

I'm the same way. I stopped getting excited about my birthday sometime back when I was a teenager. Even turning 21 wasn't a big deal to me, because by then I was already clean and sober - so no jell-o shots for me LOL

I usually only mention it after the fact or in passing, if I mention it at all. Generally, on my birthday I call my Mom up and tell her thanks. She is the one who did all the hard work after all. All I did was get my head squeezed
