Best places for occasional std tests

So I have been hobbying for 3 months or so, and it seems it would be a best practice to get an std panel done. I don't have any immediate concerns, but don't really want to wait until I do for an occasional check up. How often do the other hobbiests here get checked? Do you use a specific clinic or testing service? I have a gp, but she treats the whole family so that feels weird to me. Thanks in advance for any advice.

Can't find the thread but another hobbyist wrote about it. Totally anonymous, even when you walk into the lab, they don't need an ID just hand them the print out provided. You can use a fake name when you register on the site as well.

If you google the labs available, you will see that they are legit. Results posted online within 24-48 hours depending on when you take the test (ie. Weekend or if there is a high volume of traffic).

I get tested every 3-4 months.

If anyone finds themselves in Austin, the RBJ clinic does test for Chlam, Gon, Syph, HIV for 20 bucks. You have to call the day before for appt, best to call at 8am. But if you get there around 7:30 am you can get a walk in usually, a little earlier if you want to be sure to get in.

I love STDcheck.com, for about the price of a session I can get tested for virtually everything and the Quest Diagnostics that I choose to get my tests at is open Saturdays which is a must for me.

(You pay online at STDcheck.com and then choose from a list of testing centers convenient to your schedule and location).
