Expressing fee amounts....

MuffinMan's Avatar
Ok, Gentlemen....time to get everyone on the same page about writing and expressing fees.

50.00 dollars = .5
100.00dollars = $
200.00 dollars = $$
150.00 dollars = $.5
250.00 dollars = $$.5
Etc....

Don't use dollar signs in front of anything just to denote dollars.

If you have questions, please address them here Or PM me. Some of you are driving me up the wall trying to decide what fees are, and I'm sure I'm not the only one. Please use the simple guide above and all will work out better.

How would one express 169.32 and a pack of tic tacs?

So if I were to express the fee for getting married could I use exponential notation? Ex: $$$$$$$$$ = $^8
