Provider Verifications

I've been going through your showcases (because I'm traveling in that direction soon). I noticed that some of the providers in this area don't have reviews, but are verified. Are you guys verifying your providers because of their activities on other sites like Humaniplex?

You don't have to have reviews on ECCIE to be verified. Things we consider include, but not totally, provider or hobbiest recommendations, personal website, reviews on other sites, P411, etc.....

ECCIE is not as big in the West as TER or Redbook but we are working on it.

Thanks for the swift response CryptKicker. I'm just accustomed how things are done on my side of ECCIE. Same rules apply (of course), but providers seem to wait for a review to be written by members before they are verified.

Most of the providers here in LA have reviews on other boards and do not use this site as often. Unfortunately it is not used as much as TER, etc. A quick google search can bring you to all of her links such as recent reviews, other profiles, etc.
