Anyone heard about the New Texas Laws.
Starting September 1st, Texas will give you a 3rd degree felony if you participate in “Online Promotion of Prostitution.” They also added a 2nd/1st degree aggravated felony as well.

I think most Sites are operated overseas nowadays, which is smart. I thought the goal was to end trafficking. In my opinion if they pursue site removal it will be way harder to target traffickers.

Honestly I have not read into the law that much and as someone who is not in law, I really can't give a proper opinion but based upon a quick glance:

1. It seems to portray itself as a law that will punish clients more than providers (a popular talking point among many proponents of laws restricting such activities).

2. Seems to operate within the sort of framework which was provided by SESTA from a legal perspective.

3. It is HIGHLY likely that LE will abuse this law and even go further than what it allows when it comes to cases. I highly doubt they will face any circumstances for this since eroding civil liberties to catch "traffickers" is something we do now.

You also stated that "In my opinion if they pursue site removal it will be way harder to target traffickers." which is a statement that I find interesting. I am not a sex worker nor have I studied the topic that much, but AFAIK generally speaking such laws which are suppose to focus on the clients end up harming the providers since: 1. It harms the means of where they get their business ("No more Backpage, back on the street") and harms business (less clients). So while I am not entirely sure about the issue, it would strongly appear that this will harm ALL parties involved. Well, except law enforcement...

That’s why After all that has gone on in our community I’m shocked that people still do not like to screen. I tell people all the time if Screening isn’t your thing then stick to SA, Tinder or use pick up lines at bars .....I also read somewhere that since Weed is Legalized in most states now jails are now losing money. Just throw a bunch of clients and Companions in jail, yea that should solve the shortage.

The War on Escorts...They love to push the Propaganda of “Trafficking” but we all know the real reason.

Is that why the advertising section is now gone? Or is it just a problem on my end?

If anyone actually cared about trafficking (the powers that be I mean) they would have made an example of Robert Kraft. I'd bet good money a lot of the amp chicks are trafficked

Anyway, they dont care about trafficking, they care about money.

Do you honestly think an insurance company cares about your safety or well being? Please... y'all discussing the wrong issues. This is relevant because you're forced to buy something you cant really use. They can make prostitution legal and tax it. But there's more money in it when the thugs in blue bust you.

Just like Epstein, dudes been fucking kids for years. They got that money eventually. What you need to understand is now they are coming for your money too.

I really don’t understand why they don’t take their servers off shore like everyone else and practice more serious practice verification tactics like adult search Eros and other sites. I’m all for human trafficking to come to an end because it it gives a horrible image to the industry .. but where one door closes another few open up. Or shut it down in Texas for now this is not a national law this is a Texas law..or another option is paid memberships for providers like a lot of other sites however there are other sites that are just as good as eccie depending on what part of the country your in and research is always good usually you can put a girls number into google and find information or sometimes lack of ... just do your research .. it sucks the safety of eccie is no longer around but I can probably name about 5-6 other review boards to use that are good as well
Finally a trafficker arrested. A woman was carrying a baby to the US in her carry on. I'm sure it will come out how much she was paid. Unfortunate that she needed to make money that way. They say she could get life in prison.
