Signature Links?

I recently received communication from a moderator stating that I’m not allowed to have links to other sites in my signature line.

No preferred 411, no EROS, no twitter, no switter, no personal website that would detail menu or rates...

Can someone please direct me to a link detailing board guidelines stating that this sort of thing is not allowed?

Those types of links are posted on countless providers signature lines, so I guess I’m confused.

And if they are not actual links — but simply a mention of my profiles on those sites so I can be searched & found — is that allowed?

Item #20 may answer your question. ECCIE has become a public "social" website. Remember it is open to everyone, and not everyone thinks the hobby is a good thing. ;-)

They're in the process of turning off all signature links for the meantime.
