Anyone else fed up with Craigslist?
Just a few things I've encountered in four weeks of posting with them.
1. Can only post every 3 days or ad gets flagged.
2. Ad can be flagged just by anyone.
3. Can't post image ads.
4. Can't post an ad with a tinyurl link.
5. Can't post an ad with a link to a backpage ad.
6. Try to post a help wanted ad and it costs 25.00. Supposed to be a free classified site!
There's probably other things that I haven't encountered, too. Their business model seems to cry out "F the customer" yet they somehow seem to remain the top online classified website when Backpage has a better set-up in my opinion. What's up with that?

I go to craigslist and I see lots of image ads; I suspect you're doing it wrong.
Craigslist takes some learning. I post about 1000 ads a week without a problem. Some are image, some use hosted pics from websites I own and some are simple text ads.
You need to invest some time learning it.
But you are right about help wanted ads..... gotta pay....
They appear to be selective because when I tried to post a picture on the Adult Jobs section (it was a html file using virtual flyers for code specifically for CL), I was given a error message about not being able to because there was img file in the code. But that same flyer code worked in another area. Same thing with trying to post more than every 3 days in that section they give a message telling you if you post sooner than a certain time/day it will be flagged. Also, deny you posting if the ad is exactly the same as another of yours in that time frame.
