Homework 101

Let me start out with by saying this is not directed at anyone in particular, but I am posting this in order to help those find their own way in the hobby. I'm writing this b/c it seems like within the past 2 weeks or so, there seems to have been an avalanche (if that is the right word) of people asking questions that can be answered simply by doing a little homework. Now, I don't mind helping out people getting started, but I really don't have time to be a Good Samaritan to everyone. Hopefully, the following is a good place to start when it comes to hobbying in general, For my fellow experienced hobbyists (both boys and girls), feel free to chime in.

Step 1-- Read all the forums. There is good information out there. The National Forum is a good place to start. There are forum out there that will answer most if not all your questions about the hobby. There are forums for those who into kink (Another Realm), Sugarbabies, High End Providers, etc.

Step 2-- Seek info out on other sites. Google can be your friend. If new to the game, just do a Google search for "newbie guide to escorts". Here's a link to one site: http://www.sensuallina.com/modern-co...or-first-time/

Step 3-- Be prepared for the subculture of the hobby world. This can range from the obvious to the sublime. Nobody uses their real name. Most players have separate e-mail and phones for the hobby world.

Step 4-- Become a member of an escort site. ECCIE goes without saying, but their are other websites out there. P411 and The Erotic Review are 2 popular sites which offer the ability to gather info on providers as well as facilitate a meeting. Be prepared to pay for some of these services. Other sites like Backpage are packed with options to fill almost any need. With sites like Backpage, just go in knowing this. For the most sites, they are the 21st Century version of Streetwalkers. Granted, many reputable providers will use sites like Backpage, but their voices get crowded out with the sheer numbers of low end girls, dubious girls, or girls being pimped out. Backpage and sites like it shouldn't be your first place to look. For the most part, girls there do not have reviews, or it is hard to get info on them. When using these sites, 2 things come to mind. If it looks too good to be true, it probably is. Second, even if a provider on there is legit, comes as advertised, keep in mind Your Mileage May Vary in terms of what you may have heard about her or what your expectations are. She may advertise to "do things your wife won't do". Well, that could mean almost anything to you, but to her it may simply mean she will have basic sex with you and not complain of having a headache. With sites like Backpage-- Buyer Beware.

Step 5-- Research potential dates. There are so many review sites out there. Use them. 99% of your questions can be answered with the reviews.

Step 6-- Communicate. If you have joined ECCIE, get involved with the community. Soon enough, you will know the players and the scene. Additionally, people will get to know you

Step 7-- Have fun.

If after following all these steps, you still have questions, feel free to ask. I know many of us who have been doing this for awhile still have questions, but most of the time, these are not basic questions. For the most part, the members here will be responsive. If nothing else, remember we all strive for Step 7.
