Mardi Gras

Is Mardi Gras a good time for providers to visit? Or is it so much free activity going on for the promise of beads that you don't suggest it?
The hotels will be charging top dollar and want you to book three or four nights. Also, in some parts of town, the traffic is very bad due to parades. It's great to be a tourist at Mardi Gras, but to come here to work you really need to know your way around.
