There's over a hundred Wineries, Breweries, and distilleries out in the hill country starting at Dripping Springs. I recommend the Alstadt Brewery.
Depending on how long you are going to be here. The Austin FC games are a lot of fun.
Plenty of green belts and nature trails around here. The best ones are west of Austin
Lots of good barbecue, Green Mesquite is some good shit.
