Where To Stay? Huntsville & Birmingham

Hey Guys & Ladies,
I am just trying to do my research so I can be prepared for my upcoming trip and was needing a little help.
Where would I need to stay in Huntsville that is conveniently located and safe for you guys? And the same for Birmingham.
I really don't have a clue and just want to be in the right area. I appreciate anyone's input! Thank you soo much for your time!!

Kisses,
Nikki
Others may have suggestions, but I would avoid the Madison area and University Drive. University has safety issues and both have LE attention.

I agree - avoid University Dr; North Parkway & Madison; that leaves south Huntsville - Double Tree; Hilton Gardens; Hampton Inn; but avoid the Kings Inn and VIP Inn like the plague; closer to downtown would be the Embassy Suites and Spring Hill Suites
all of the above is good advice-- take it, and days inn is helping out uncle leo, you check inn and the first guy that snows up the hotel reports you to leo,
if all else fails just call me, i guess you could just stay with me.
all of the above is good advice, avoid the days inn they will call leo when the first guy shows up- this is now true with all days inn as they are training all managers to help leo with human trafficking .
they also look for guys that show up with no luggage and a female knows on the door.
this hobby is becoming a rough life.

What little i've been there, I've liked Hoover also.
I realize I am chiming in a little late. I mostly agree with the others to avoid University Drive. It is a big road though. There is a Hampton Inn at the corner or University and Wynn Dr that has outside room access and a large parking lot next to busy restaurants.
Helpful information is
always appreciated.
PM sent...:-)
