Relocating to Austin

Hi all,

I may have the opportunity to relocate to the Austin area this summer. Sadly, my experiences with Austin has been limited to passing through on 35, except that one AmWay conference in 1998. ;-)

Can anyone please give me the low down on the best eats, best places for a beer and patio, and of course the best areas for sexy time. Any areas to avoid? I'd appreciate any info and suggestions.

I avoid all of Austin since most of Silicone Valley relocated to Austin. Real estate prices / taxes through the roof, neighborhood dives demolished to make condos, etc...


Austin is gone and not coming back...
