Think before you Ink

Sickpuppy's Avatar
Your friends say it’s attractive and cool, but…….. Imagine your grandkids asking their Mom/Dad: “Why does grandma have…eyeballs printed on her breasts?; barbed wire around her ankle?; some guy’s name that’s not grandpa on her neck? Imagine your sister’s or brother’s kid’s asking them: “Why does Aunt Jane always wear long sleeves?” Imagine your kid(s) asking you: “Why don’t the other mothers in my (high school) graduating class have tattoos, I thought you said it was common when you were young?”

Now, I’m going to take a lot of flak for this from all the “hobbyists” that will defend your right and/or accuse me of just being old school and try to run me off the board defending their ATF, etc. But, if you can get access, read the ROS’s of as many reviews as you can find and you’ll get the true picture, usually with no BS. I have yet to find one review that says – “go see this girl, she’s got great tattoos”. What you will see, included in the vast majority of reviews – “a few tats, but nothing too distracting” – does that sound like a compliment?

Body ink does not make you (or Angelina) more attractive, it’s a distraction from your real beauty. If this post stops one beautiful woman from turning herself into a billboard, it was worth all the crap I’m going to take for voicing my opinion.

Actually, I agree with you about how tattoos disfigure the natural beauty of the human form, but such drastic habits are too ingrained to be easily abandoned with even the most compelling arguments.

The problem is that there is a subculture that always seems bent on glorifying gristly methods of degrading the body with permanent ink, metal studs or cutting.

To my mind, it is clearly and obviously wrong to desecrate the beauty of the human body with tattoos that only make the body look like an abandoned lot where local gangs scrawl their garish graffiti to mark their territory, but you can't change such a mindset.

The thing is that you cannot reason with the mentality that thinks this practice is somehow cool and attractive and they will continue with the idiotic practice and condemn all those who disagree with the lifestyle.

. . . So it's best to just let them be because they won't change in this lifetime and the will hate you and condemn you for not thinking as they do.

So you think that because they choose to "rent" their bodies to you for an hour you can be their life coach?

....That's funny.

You want to be helpful to these girls? Next hooker you schedule with....give her $$$ and walk out. Tell her she doesn't have to please you sexually, that it's just a gift from you to her. Tell her to open a savings account or use it towards school.

.....That's being helpful.

Our time on this planet is limited, let people live however the fuck they wanna. Quit trying to tell other people what morals they should have and they will be ashamed for a choice you think is bad.

I wonder what percentage of the world would be waggling their finger at you for your 21 reviews.

I think tattoos are great if they are done in good taste and are nice tattoos. Now if you have a bunch of bad tatts and profanity written all over your body then you just look trashy. A lot of people don't think before they get a tattoo.

I do not mind body art on anyone whatsoever. Tattoos (good or bad) do not distract me or take away from a visit with a beautiful person. Just me but the inner beauty in the providers I choose to spend my life's time with is much more important to me.

Young girls do it for themselves and young guys have no issue with them.

I think the generation gap is the issue and not the tats.

When someone says they have ink and it is not that distracting it is because they are not used to it.

I love ink and if they are placed in an area that I find attractive I will see the girl.

If she is inked up like a prison bitch I don't find that attractive.

My girl has ink on her pelvic area and it drives me insane.

If she were to get one done on her chest or breasts I wouldn't want to be with her all that much.
I'm not a big tat fan but they don't really bother me either. They have never gotten in the way of me enjoying my time with a lady. The lady in Fast Gunn's post is lovely either way because her soul shows through in her face and eyes. And the poster who wondered how much of the world would wag their finger at the op's 21 reviews is spot on - most of the world would. Those of us in this sub-culture better be real wary of telling others how to live. I believe we need to give people as much choice about how they live their life as possible - up to the point that it starts to infringe on ours - and even then - some tolerance is called for. It's their life to live.

They are expression, they are generational "rebellion", they are going to happen. They DO say something about the person--and I find that positive. I actually WANT a lady to express herself, because that allows me to make a more informed decision whether I want to see her.

Having tats won't keep me from seeing someone--in fact my current favorite lady has quite a few of them. But what the tats ARE might, just as how she is dressed, how she expresses herself in her posts/ads might, etc.

I absolutely agree that the face and eyes--and a real smile--far out weigh almost anything else.

#3 - Just like providers choose to screen us, I sometimes choose to rule-out providers with the answer tattoos - "several" after reviewing their photos, but that's my choice isn't it? I suppose you don't screen anyone out based on age/weight/hair, etc? Do you see them anyway and donate the money?
#4 - I stopped going to strip clubs long ago when the "over the top" tattoo craze started, I wonder if others did the same, hurting their industry without their knowledge.
#5 - Remember the first girl tattoo style to appear in their small of the back? Someone else coined the label "Tramp Stamp"; maybe you should try to enlighten him.
#6 - You "respect" their choices, but call them hookers????
