Remember to set your clocks ahead one hour tonight because Daylight Saving Time officially starts at 2 a.m. on Sunday. It ends the first Sunday in November.

Benjamin Franklin first thought up the idea of daylight saving in 1784. It wasn't instituted until World War I, when it went into effect to save energy used for lights.

The Standard Time Act established time zones and daylight saving in 1918, but it was short-lived. Daylight saving was repealed the following year.

The Uniform Time Act of 1966 established Daylight Saving Time throughout the United States and gave states the option to exempt themselves. Hawaii and most of Arizona do not follow Daylight Saving Time. Guam, Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands and American Samoa also skip out on the clock-changing fun.

The idea of adjusting the time to the sun came along long before Benjamin Franklin. The Romans did it by varying the length of the hours during the day. A method that is still used today in parts of Greece and in Jewish ceremonies.

Damn! I didn't realize that. Mokoa, you really need to come play trivia with us! Speaking of clocks, there could be some fun bedroom games incorporated into having this beauty on your wall.

Damm. That hour doesn't seem like much but I'm still sleepy and horny.
You don't gain or lose shit , sun still rises and sets the same . You've just conformed to others demands ! Good dog , here's a treat !
So RR do you not usually conform with DST( how crazy inconveint I bet those few months are when everyone else is on different time lol) Your comment made me realize just how much socialism plays into our country, even though it has a negative connotation.....shit I feel like this got to deep for a comment about time.

I don't mind the change. More sun is OK with me.
