The search function is a little batty. If it doesn't find the exact number, 713-555-5555

It gives the results for what seems like all the 713 all the 555 and all the 5555 that matched...

Is this going to be fixed...

Sometimes enclosing the number in quotes helps. For example, "123-456-7890", or "456-7890". Remember that most search engines use some of the special characters (like the "-", "+", "&") to interpret boolean logic.

So, searching the number 123-4567 may give everything that contains 123 but does not contain 4567. I am not sure if the search engine here is like that.

Is there any page that provides instructions on using the search engine employed by this site? I've tried different types of connectors and characters, but they don't seem to work for me.
