I will heading there for the first time . Looking for any information I can get on this place. Where to go for the best girls. Is it safe to go? I have my past port so no worries on that part. Should I get a hotel there for the night? Thanks in advance.

The last time I was there I think in 2015-2016, on the out skirts of town heading west, gun battle between military and cartels.............

A few years ago one of the cartels I think it was the Gulf or Zeta, beheaded the Governors grandson's. Since then things have not been that stable.
Most of the clubs and stuff have been closed for years, there are some cantina's but mostly for locals. My info is from locals I know in Acuna.

Sad, I used to go to Crosby's bar and cafe all the time, pretty good food and very reasonable too. Nice people and their kitchen was clean. That was always with my in-laws so I did not monger while in Acuna.
I went to Acuņa about 6 mo's ago for dental work, which was great and cheap and had my taxi driver take me to their boys town or whatever, but it was closed due to elections that day...just my luck. I will go back soon to get more dental work done, hopefully not on an election day

very safe to go to acuna
i go at least once a week
there have been a couple incidents but nothing bad like shootouts or anything like that
if you just stick to el centro and dont go looking for shit, you wont step in any...basically just like any where else
I was in Acuna for Memorial Day, stayed at Hotel Villa Real. Stay on main streets. Bars: Fama, and one a few blocks down, easy to to find whatever your looking for. I met two very nice girls. They hit the main bars now.
