A Game of Thrones ***SPOILERS*** read at own risk

No spoilers yet, just want to see if anyone is watching the series and has read the books.

I don't think I can get through another season without being able to talk about it with anyone. I don't know anyone else that has read them and I don't want to ruin anything so I just have to sit there while people make guesses and gaaaaaah.
Love that show, just got the first book in the series from Amazon, will be reading it soon, but no spoilers should be in that book. I was totally disappointed when HBO cancelled Deadwood, Sopranos, and Rome, but True Blood, Boardwalk Empire and now Game of Thrones have kept me an HBO subsriber, for now. I didn't really like Luck at all and quit watching it after the first few episodes.
Lol you fit under the category of people that I can't talk to. For instance, there is a death at the end of DWD (a death? No shit?) that needs to be discussed! Changes everything! OMG! /brain asplode

I checked.......I got:

7 requests for access to the Spider Hole
4 demands for back child-support from some sugar baby in Nigeria (so it must be true)
and
1 PM form some dude asking me to wear leather chaps to the tailgate on Sunday.
I'm watching the series and I am listening to the unabridged audiobooks (from audible.com) when I tour. I must admit I have found myself intentionally waiting to turn off the car more than once. 'Engaging' is an understatement.
Game is a great show and I saw the other day that SNL did a spoof on the quantity of nudity in it...Hell Id have to have that
I've read all the books except 'A Dance With Dragons' and am caught up on the TV series.

Hardcore Nerdy Bookworm FTW.
Game of thrones is amazing indeed, I am following it. Thou why pay and subscribe to channels when there are so many other ways of watching it for free in HD

Take the example of Hunger Games, people didn't like the movie and they compare it to the book that how good it is and how bad the movie is. Point being we should go for what we like more, reading or watching. Criticizing if we do both.
I absolutely love the HBO series. I'm currently reading the books and not too impressed so far.
I just feel like my entire point was missed.

SPOILERS COMING IN 2 INCHES

Jon gets stabbed brutally in the back just when it seems like he is needed most. How does this fit into the idea that he is supposed to be one of the three dragon riders? Now that Arya can see again (thank fuck!) how will she get back to Westeros? WHEN WILL SHE GET NYMERIA BACK????

Bueller.......Bueller......... .
Sorry, I haven't made it all the way through DWD (A Dance with Dragons) - but thanks for the spoiler. Maybe obscure the spoiler as white text so you have to select the text with your mouse to see it, ijs. Yah, I know, I know - I didn't HAVE to read it, but damn! Oh well . . .
