Advice

Seriously considering a trip to CR at the beginning of July. There is a lot of useful info here and the Sportsman seems to be the place in SJ and the Costa for Jaco. It appears SJ is cooling down as Jaco is heating up.

It got me thinking... I prefer a nicer place to stay. The penthouse at SM seems nice but at $320/night with tax... why not just go to Jaco and get a nice private beach house. There seem to be good options at the similar prices. Then there are some insanely cool places for $750 - $1200 per night but they are 4 to 7 bedrooms.

My idea which I realize is a long shot:

Get a group of fellow like minded Eccie guys to rent out one of these places. We split the costs of the place (maybe even assign a higher value to the nicer bedrooms). Plus maybe having a maid or a place that comes with a maid. One step further a private chef for breakfast/lunches. (dinner would be a maybe as we might prefer to eat out at the places to pick up Ticas at night).

My research shows most places are available during the July 4th period. They have either a 4 or 7 night minimum. There are a nice variety of places.

Any thoughts?

Check out Hotel La Amistad in SJ, 3 minute walk to Sportsman. They have been offering an all-inclusive rate of $90.00,includes three meals a day, free drinks, 50% off top shelf liquors, free transportation to Jaco. You must inform them that you want the all-inclusive rate, when making reservations. Hotel is chica friendly, girls are not allowed to hang out, but you can have them as guest. Make sure you ask for a room towards the back, as there's a commuter train, that goes right by the hotel, starting at 5:00 am. Very friendly staff, very good food. Enjoy your trip
Vista Mar Condos in Jaco are excellent at $150.00 per person for a 3 bedroom condo with 3 full beds and private bath plus common living, dining and kitchen areas. Large, 4-5 star amenities with washer & dryers also. Costa Rica Dream Makers are good company t book your reservation through. SL or La Amistad in San Jose

Jaco has become popular since a modern highway was built from the SJO Airport, and you can get there in about an hour and half. Some guys like the beach, and there are Cocal is full of girls in the evening,

That said, the options for finding girls are limited to the late evenings, and few places with the Cocal being the dominant one. Plan to spend $100 - $200 per hook up.

In San Jose, there are dozens of daytime massage parlor type venues with pricing in the $50 range. There are also plenty of girls to pick up at the Del Rey and to a lesser extent the Sportsmens in the evenings. They usually ask for $100.

If you are coming to Costa Rica for frequent sex and a target rich environment, then stay in San Jose. If you want to spend $$$ lavishly and stay on the beach, then go to Jaco.

Most of my guys seem to be going to Jaco now. Why? because that's where the girls are. i would say it's about 60-40 in the favor of Jaco. a lot of my guys are staying at the Monaco Jaco Luxury Condo's and the Vista Mar. You can get a 3 bedroom with my discount for about $150 and up depending on the floor level. Really worth it if you want to splurge of have a couple of guys to share.

Hotel rooms in San Jose are $50 - $100 a night, but the rooms in Jaco are $100 to $250. All the action in Jaco is in one place, the Cocal Casino and for a few hours every evening. The better girls think $100 is too little money.

You also have to pay for the ground transportation from the airport to Jaco, which is about $50 and 2 hours.

Stick with San Jose where there are more than 40 venues to pick up girls, which range in price from $15 to $100. I prefer to have one or two girls in the afternoon for $30 to $50, along with a light massage. At night, I'll splurge on a Del Rey girl for $100 if she is nice, or if not just hit one of the night clubs, and pick out a stripper for $50.

In Jaco, there are NO Strippers, NO daytime Massage Parlors, and the only action you will get during the daytime is jerking off.

In San Jose, there are hookers all the time, even on Sunday.
