Shep3.0's vendetta against LolaBrea01 needs to end...

For the past week and a half, we've all witnessed Shep3.0's smear campaign against LolaBrea01 (http://www.eccie.net/showthread.php?t=838478). Due to my proximity to the situation, I was tempted to comment on one of the various threads about it, but decided to stay out of it. I'm not one who's generally interested in wading into ECCIE drama. Of all my posts, I think I've commented on one coed thread, and only a handful of Men's Lounge and ISO threads. I pretty much only comment on reviews, and even then, sparingly. My point is, since I mainly use this site to read and post reviews, I'm not interested in getting involved in a lot of pointless fights on this site. But I feel like I need to speak out in this particular situation. Partly, because people are not really informed of what is really going on here. But mainly, because I'm at the center of the initial cause of the bad blood between Shep and Lola.

About five and a half months ago, I was invited to join Shep's social group. I ended up attending two socials and got to know many cool hobbyists and providers associated with the group. After being in the group for about two months, LolaBrea01 was invited to join. I was happy with this, because I had seen her BCD and thought she was a really fun person who would fit in perfectly in the group. I'm speculating here, but I don't think Shep was too keen initially on the idea of bringing Lola into the group. But ultimately, he acquiesced after several of his hobby/provider friends pushed for her to be added. After joining the group, Lola attended a social and met Shep for the first time. They seemed to get along just fine.

At this particular social, an incident happened involving myself, a couple of hobbyists and a couple of providers. The circumstances of the incident were relatively minor, but the result of it was that I got kicked out of the group. The details of what happened are not germane to this discussion, but needless to say, if you knew what happened, you would laugh out loud that such a stupid thing could cause such drama. Anyway, in the days after, the powers that be apparently realized that the situation had been overreacted to and my expulsion from the group turned into a thirty day suspension. Many people in the group (both hobbyists and providers) contacted me privately to express their dismay with how Shep was running things, and said that this particular situation was just the latest example. One of the people upset by the whole thing was Lola. She wanted to go to bat for me with Shep, but I told her it wasn't worth it and I didn't want her to get involved and get herself in trouble. She agreed, but Lola being Lola, thought it would be funny to post in her sig line "Free SirRonMexico". Anybody that knows Lola, knows that she has a great sense of humor and likes to make witty jokes. Well apparently Shep didn't get the joke and he became infuriated with Lola. He sent her a very threatening PM, commanding her to take the offending message down from her signature. She immediately took it down, but in his anger, Shep decided to go ahead and kick her out of his group. The fall out of the whole situation ultimately got Lola and I permanently banned from the group. Not that we really cared at that point.

If that was the end of the story, there would be nothing else to report. But not content to just kick Lola and I out of his group, Shep and his army of sycophants started spreading rumors about us. The hobby is a small world, and word travels fast. Lola and I remained friends with some of the hobbyists and providers in the group, so we were both hearing all of the rumors being spread about us. The first rumor was that the real reason Lola and I were kicked out was that we were talking bad about all of the people in the group and were basically spreading discord. Of course, the truth is, we were speaking poorly about one member of the group, Shep. But that was only after Lola got kicked out of the group and was said because he had mistreated us both. The second rumor was that I was trying to get free sessions with all of the providers. It was just a bold faced lie and any provider I've seen would back me up on this one. Honestly, it's so stupid that it's really not worth defending any further. The third rumor was that Lola and I were dating and that was the only reason she defended me. Nothing could be further from the truth. I've only seen Lola BCD twice (the last being over seven months ago) and only hung out with her socially three or four times. I'm not her white knight and she's certainly not mine. Lola defended me because she felt I was being treated unfairly and that someone should take up for me. Basically, she was trying to be a good person.

The whole thing was pretty disgusting to me and totally changed my outlook on the hobby. I had joined ECCIE to have fun and bang hot chicks, but now I was worried whether one of these vindictive people were going to try to mess with my real life situation. So from that point on, I pretty much disappeared from the boards. I stopped posting and commenting on reviews and have pretty much just taken my hobbying under the radar every since. Anyone who knows me knows I love writing really, long, informative reviews to pass on valuable information to my fellow hobbyists, but it just wasn't worth it to me anymore so I stopped. Luckily, I was able to move on from the situation, but Lola didn't have that luxury. This is her livelihood and she depends on being on ECCIE to make ends meet, just like the rest of the ladies on here. But the problem was, now Lola had a Shep problem. By not getting in line and daring to cross him, Shep seems to have developed a hatred for Lola. This has manifested itself in many ways. This is hearsay, but I have heard from people in the group that anyone that sees Lola gets kicked out of the group. And from all of the threads started by Shep as of late, it's been shown that he is doing everything in his power to harm Lola's reputation. This leads us to the events of the past week and a half.

Things have been simmering between Lola and Shep for months. They obviously reached a boiling point when Shep commented on the 'No' review of Lola. In my opinion, it wasn't very smart of Lola to send a threatening PM to Shep. But knowing everything I know about the situation, I think she had finally just had enough of all of his bullying tactics. That being said, I know Lola, and I she would never out anyone…even someone like Shep. She just lost her temper after months of abuse and lashed out. Of course, Shep never for a moment was worried that she was going to out him. If he was, he would have let the moderators handle the situation. It became obvious when he posted that alert that he felt like she had finally given him what he needed to hang her. I guess he thought if he started the alert, nobody would see her again and he could finally take her down. What Shep didn't count on was that all the alert thread did was serve to make himself look like an extremely vindictive, bullying psychopath that will do anything he can to harm a provider he doesn't like. Whether it's attempting to manipulate moderators, hobbyists, and/or providers to do his bidding or creating transparently agenda driven alert threads, Shep seems to be trying to pull out all of the stops to destroy Lola. His starting this latest Coed thread (http://www.eccie.net/showthread.php?t=846623), pleading to get the alerts thread reopened, shows how truly desperate Shep is to get at Lola. It's actually getting a little scary. Honestly, I'm a little shocked that Shep would get himself in this mess. The few times I've hung out with Shep, the one thing that absolutely screamed about the guy is that the hobby, and especially his reputation on this site, is his life. As he once said to me at a social "some guys play in the hobby…I live it." So it's been a little strange to me that someone who really cares what people (especially the guys) on this site think of him, would continue to flame this controversy that is making him look so bad. I can only speculate, but it seems that his unhealthy obsession with Lola has reached such a point, that he's willing to go down in flames as long as he takes her down with him.

Hopefully by now, it's obvious to everyone that Shep's true motive is to harm Lola in whatever way he can. The purpose in writing this was to finally expose Shep for the liar that he is. The next time Shep goes after Lola or another provider, people can link back to here or the other threads and quickly nip it in the bud. But, ultimately, I think we're all ready for this to end and for Shep to take his ball and go home. Bottom line, Shep3.0's vendetta against LolaBrea01 needs to end.

Lack of discretion is why social groups implode. It is easy to keep a code of silence when you are in the group. Of course, otherwise you're booted for breaking the code of silence.

I find it unfortunate that booted members turn against the group after they leave.

This is not high school. This is exposing danger to members of the group, people...

If you have ANY honor, keep you f** mouth shut even if you are booted. you may have a vendetta against Shep, but you are endangering everybody in the group.

Thanks for giving us more info SRM, this is definitely a clearer picture and leads me to make 3 statements-

1) This Bullshit is beyond High School school behavior. Grow up people, especially Shep 3.0

2) brownsugarbaby is right, this dead horse has been beat enough. I will not read or comment any further on anything written between or about Lolabrea or Shep 3.0.

3) Any fallout these 2 may experience from this childish drama isn't enough and is well deserved for this high school popularity contest behavior

Did you expect him to kill her business and everyone to just let it happen? Lola is a sweet, funny, smart, charming person. She's ambitious, so she can be fiery when pushed. But there is no better human being than her. You see that in the passionate guys who are all defending her. What other provider has that kind of following?

What SRM wrote is exactly true. When this happened, she was upset and postponed my first appointment with her. To make it up, she offered free time (which I declined). If you read her recent reviews, she reached out to the one legitimate reviewer who gave her a neutral review. That's the way she is, very genuine. She wants to please people and it's not just sexual, she wants them to have a good experience about her as a person too. It's sad that this person has to go through attacks that she does not deserve by people who don't know her.

SRM is very candid. He did even point out where I agree Lola misstepped a little and Shep pounced on. That said, it's been very clear that Shep is an evil person intent on intentionally hurting an individual. You guys in the group should think on your own and think about the people. Your leader is an A-hole. I know it's not going to convince people, but thank you SRM for the candid and honest thread.

Aren't we all supposed to be way beyond high school age? You actually spent time writing all that (I didn't read the whole thing...too much and I got overwhelmed)? Why is it so important for you to tell all this? This is not real life...it's just some useless provider/hobbyist group.

I think you missed my point. people will have disputes, that's a given. But keep innocent people out of it.

Who's right or wrong is not my concern. I know and like both Shep and Lola, I will not take sides. Neither Shep nor Lola were exposing the group on their dispute, even in the worst of circumstances, they understand safety.

It is not about the truth. It's about safety, which depends on discretion.

Form a club or group of " insiders" solely for the purpose of having an advantage over others in terms of benefits and favors.
Knowledge, especially insider knowledge is power.
This is not mere high school behavior. This is the Civitans, Jaycees and any other socio-political group, having fun of course but ultimately looking out for their own interests.
It's all fun until someone is outed and not just from the Shep Social Club.

Clearly, some shit went down. We get that. OP, I appreciate your post. It reads with sincerity. If you're honestly chiming in to bring something genuine to the situation, then more power to you. But my guess is that there's still more to it, and only those in-the-know really have the truth and details.

For those of us back in the nose-bleed section (and I wouldn't want to be any closer for this one), my fantasy is that some influential person or entity (to both parties) would step in, privately, and squash this - permanently.

Hey, we all have our fantasies we'd like to get fulfilled. Hear me o'sex genie! Make this drama disappear! I wish all parties the best going forward, but I'll be clueless, as I'm gonna quit reading any threads about it.

neither you nor me have all the facts. we *think* we have. Don't be too quick to judge so yourself won't be judged. Leave that to the mods. That's why they so graciously volunteer their time. They have access to more information than we do.

Discretion should trump everything, and that is my opinion. If I was looking for truth, I would not be looking for it on a hooker board. This is not RL.
