Question for the dudes...
In regards to local providers:
When wanting an appointment do you depend on the ads section? In other words, does a local provider need to post an ad before you contact her? I know sometimes I just let it slip by myself and not post an ad (it's hard being creative sometimes) because I figure since I'm local, you guys know this and can contact me at any time.
Someone relatively new told me he wanted to see me but hadn't contacted me because I didn't post an ad. I'm like I'm already here, you don't need an ad for that unless I have a special or something going on. (To my way of thinking).
As a side note, I really wish we could post daily ads for the locals. There aren't a lot of us and somedays I may find myself with nothing to do, whereas the next day I may be unavailable. If we could post daily ads, like OK fellas I'm available TODAY which I post on a Monday, then Tuesday if I have a Dr. appointment or have to run five thousand errands I wouldn't post that day. Get my drift? Ladies what do you think? I don't see it working on ECCIE because if they do it here they would probably have to do it in Dallas and other large areas where it just wouldn't work due to sheer number.
Maybe I'll try it in the bedroom if I can get more ladies to participate there (AHEM!)
Having an ad running at that moment helps, but it isn't everything. I'm not one to TOFTT (too risky in terms of safety, legality and quality of experience), so I primarily look for multiple positive reviews before calling a provider. But seeing an ad makes it more probable that I look to see if that specific provider meets my requirements.
I understand why daily ads would be a good idea from your perspective (and I have no doubt that you would use them responsibly), but eventually the board would be so cluttered with ads that it would be virtually indistinguishable from CL/BP. The best solution would be to run the weekly ad, point hobbyists to your website and then have your daily schedule there.

If I have never met the lady or do not know much about her then yes, the ad is vital. For a lady that I do know or have been with before then no, the ad may not be vital but still can be helpful to know availability.
I think posting a weekly ad is always a good idea that lets us know you're available on certain days. You don't have to invent an ad every week. You can have a standard, boilerplate ad and keep running it. You could change it up sometimes with new pics, recent reviews, specials etc.
I think you gain an edge, even if you're local, when you keep your name out there for all to see.
I would definately say it is good for the local girls to run specials... Lets us know who is active, new pics, etc.
I agree with Mokoa - I wouldn't feel comfortable contacting a provider I've never seen before if she didn't have a recent ad. It sounds weird, but it just seems kind of presumptuous to me...
For me, that I don't live in the area anymore, I like to see an ad, unless I'm planning on seeing someone I've met before. I do use the ads because that's easiest for me to look up contact information, rates, and availability. I admit I'm usually the type that doesn't give much notice since I don't know if I'll have the time or even be in Corpus, but having that information at my fingertips really helps.
Thanks for the replies y'all! This helps alot for me to understand where you're coming from.
An ad allows us the knowledge that you are in the area and not traveling the world on vacation or business. A little reminder that you are available and willing certainly cannot hurt.
