Mayor of San Juan, PR complains of federal (Trump) response

the_real_Barleycorn's Avatar
Which is odd after last week she praised the federal response but this is part of the old democrat play book. Governor Sibelius delayed aid to Kansas and complained of Bush's response to the disaster at Greenburg. Unfortunately, she got caught lying when she said that most of Kansas National Guard equipment was in Bush's Iraq war. Turned out that over 70% was still in the state and she admitted that Rahm Emmanuel told her to increase the suffering for political purposes.

In 2005 the governor of Louisiana was being begged by the Mayor of New Orleans to okay federal help but Blanco (the governor) delayed the request until after Bush personally showed up in Baton Rouge allowing the people to go hungry and thirsty. This prompted GW into repealing that section of the Posse Comitatus Act.

In Florida the democrat governer delayed requesting aid from George H W Bush after hurricane Hugo for five days. It was an election year.

Standard democrat shit. Delay aid to people after a disaster or complain about the lack of aid when the president is a republican.

Is that the Astros' shipment?

I saw on the news it arrived and was unloaded.

What she didn't explain, probably because she was "sheltering in place" while the place got ravaged twice, is ... the Feds couldn't get in because Maria was still heading up the East coast....

.. but what does she know about helping people.

She's not wheelchair bound.

She must be politicking for some of those FEMA trailers!

You know, the ones with formaldehyde gas contaminating them!

Nothing like Liberal-Nazis-Whiners looking out for the oppressed!

Report: Puerto Rico Teamsters Union, “Frente Amplio”, Refuse to Deliver Supplies – Use Hurricane Maria as Contract Leverage…

Posted on September 30, 2017 by sundance

Puerto Rican born and raised, Colonel Michael A. Valle (”Torch”), Commander, 101st Air and Space Operations Group, and Director of the Joint Air Component Coordination Element, 1st Air Force, responsible for Hurricane Maria relief efforts, has the following comment:

…They have the generators, water, food, medicine, and fuel on the ground, yet the supplies are not moving across the island as quickly as they’re needed.

“It’s a lack of drivers for the transport trucks, the 18 wheelers. Supplies we have. Trucks we have. There are ships full of supplies, backed up in the ports, waiting to have a vehicle to unload into. However, only 20% of the truck drivers show up to work. These are private citizens in Puerto Rico, paid by companies that are contracted by the government”.. (link)

The ports are so full of relief supplies they can’t fit any more on the available space. CNBC ground report confirms Colonel Valle’s ground report. WATCH:

The reason for truck drivers not showing up? The Puerto Rican Teamsters Union, Frente Amplio, is refusing to move the product.

1. Dems decide to try and trash Trump on PR
2. PR Dems get message to stop complementing Trump & start slamming him
3. Media pounces
4. Trump lashes back at phony critics
5. Voters pay attention, see massive relief & Dems whining in front of pallets of supplies
6. Trump wins

I can't wait for the 0donks to get here!

Don't know if you are familiar with what the churches did for the Katrina evacuees, but they staged the donations at the Rocket's digs, sorted them, and then took them to George Brown and AstroDome so that evacuees could find things they needed. I went directly to the evacuees with volunteers doing the work, including transportation. (The stuff was free to the evacuees, also. Not the case with some of these vultures out there!)

What a bunch of whiny bitches you are.

Twitler ignored PR. Probably a mistake at first -- after all, he had the NFL on his mind, poor thing -- but when people started pointing it out, he quickly shifted into ASSHOLE mode and started a SHARTNADO, 18 negative, attack-filled tweets.

http://www.cnn.com/2017/10/01/politi...ico/index.html

MEANWHILE, Americans ARE DYING.

You assholes want to make this about politics?

Twitler has ever only made it about brown people, spoken or implied. Like everything else, he proved himself yet again that he's just a flat out racist asshole.

You'd be happier later if you STFU now.

I find it very difficult to have much sympathy for a mayor who won't even meet with FEMA officials to discuss their needs. She is a minority of one. The other mayors and the Governor of Puerto Rico have nothing but praise for the Trump admin and Federal response. Go figure???

BTW, about the "people dying" thing. The death count hasn't changed in 10 days. Still 16.

Twitler tweeted 18 times about PR yesterday.

Apparently he realizes he fucked up,

So what did he do?

HE WE AT BATSHIT. AGAIN!
