The Future is Now

Well, I finally broke down and drank the Apple kool-aid and bought an iPhone-4s. The old Palm Pre was on its last legs and the new 4s looked pretty cool. It comes with "Siri" - a voice recognition personal assistant. Apparently, it has some pretty good artificial intelligence behind it and people are having all kinds of fun with it.

Ideally, it's supposed to help you out. You can ask it to send text messages, give you reminders when you are supposed to do things, locate restaurants in the area, etc.

Just for fun, I said to Siri, "I want a blowjob." She dutifully said, "I'm working on it..." then gave me the names and addresses of two escort agencies. Neither one was close, and I know there are others closer, but it's a start.
