Best city to Visit in La?

I have visited Lake Charles a few times. I am wanting to venture further in. What city is a great spot?

Don't get me wrong, I love lake Charles. I just get tired of the casino scenery. I like a city with landmarks to venture out. I am not a party gal. So don't think NOLA would be for me. I could be wrong.

In this case you are. There is a lot more to NOLA than just partying. There is amazing architecture and history. There's the beautiful garden district, and the cemetery tours since they can't bury like in other cities. They have an amazing aquarium and the WWII museum.

In the French Quarter there are things to see that don't involve a party.The nation's oldest theatre is there, as well as a museum of pharmacology. Although the street repairs have that area a bit tore up right now.

The food is divine and the streetcar rides are a lot of fun.

There are still downsides, of course, and but check out some of the guides to the city and you might be persuaded to see what it has to offer you.

nola and lafayette and baton rouge...all fun and good biz
