Do they expect tipping for good to great service? What's the etiquette? Thanks
Restaurant tipping is 10% unless the service is exceptional. Outside of restaurants, many people work ONLY for tips, and expect a 5-10p coin for the most minor things.
No THEY don't but if you're feeling particularly generous go for it (no one hates extra money no matter the amount lol). When I tip it's 15% for good and it goes up depending on how much I was wowed. Nice "customers" are remembered pretty fondly in general...tippers esp good-to-great ones even more so.
You do a lot of tipping in Tijuana?
Sure. Tipping varies place to place (some places it's not customary at all). I make sure to read up about that based on where i'm going.
