When are you planning? Please keep us updated. West Little Rock is pretty safe are. Lot of outdoor activities like hiking and biking but river trail is a good hangout place.

The best recommendation I can give you is get in the car and come to Fayetteville/Springdale/Bentonville! It's the nicest part of the State and I'm sure you'd enjoy it up here!!

I hear that's a pretty cool town.
I might as well pop over for a visit when I leave LR.

If I only had time for one "touristy thing" in Hot Springs, what would you suggest?

In Hot Springs, Oaklawn is great when the ponies are running but I think their season is over. Still a pretty cool casino. There is lots of great trails too if you like the outdoors. Very cool one arobathhouse. bathhouses.
