DeSantis is probably the most open modern day racist ever to run for president. He probably only wants to be president long enough to repeal The Emancipation Proclamation. Imagine this scenario:

Trump will be locked up (or well on his way) so he won't matter.
Tim Scott wins the republican primary.
Tim Scott asks DeSantis to be his running mate.
Does DeSantis accept the offer? Can such a racist work "under" a race he wants removed from existence?
Would DeSantis accept the job knowing if Scott wins there will never be a record of the "Scott - DeSantis" ticket?
Presidential records would look like this: 2024-2028 (Advantage?: thinnest history book ever!)
