Recommendations on places to stay

Hi ladies and gentlemen,

Im visiting Austin from January 10th - 12th. Even though I have visited atx a few times , Im still not familiar with the good places to stay. I am looking online for anything around the 290 and 183 off 35.

Either send me a Pm with your recommendations or just reply to the thread

Thank you
Come down south please! I need some backup down here!
Domain seems to be a good choice for many!

I'd pretty much recommend staying away from the "Vagina Triangle" (290/I-35/183 area). Domain/Arboretum area is good-- as is the south end. Austin is a city where you just can't make everyone happy thanks to the traffic. But-- I'd stay away from Vagina Triangle and also WilCo.

Williamson County, to be exact.

Basically Cedar Park, Round Rock, and Georgetown.

The Casulo is my favorite place to stay. Book through Hotels.com. The tub alone is reason enough. Just trust me. The price is very reasonable for the accommodations they provide. It's on the south side and it will really impress you. It has an asian theme and it's very very clean and luxurious. Sound proof rooms. High ceilings. Small hotel. The suites are even better. Trust me on this.
