Four Palms and the Cedar lounge

Who remembers going to the Pressure Cookers the Four Palms or the Cedar lounge.
I had some good times back in the 70's until a local news reporter came in with his camera crew and pulled the chicken ranch dance.

Hottest nights of the year at the four palms was opening weekend of deer season.

Thanks for the link. That is how I remember The Four Palms back then. There were notels you could go to. I remember reading an article about some notel was filming people and then was producing porn videos for sell and some man saw his wife in one and it all came out in divorce court. There was also an article about Garner State Park that brought a funny memory from 75. I came up to the pavilion and my High School Chearleaders, Pep Squad and goody two shoes where all there drinking and partying without there boyfriends but with some college guys and when I showed up they tried to drop the beers and run but it was late I had already was calling all by name but some didn't care and stayed and partied but the guys all wanted to know who I was and I killed the party. Well they were surprised to find out these girls were underage and junior and seniors in High school. Can you believe the girls lied to them. The next day I had a lot of girls come to my campsite to talk to me and also the first day back from the Labor Day Weekend they caught me just as I got to the campus and was surrounded by the sweet little angels and asked to not say anything to anybody.

Damn. Some of you may want to consider retiring, or come into the 21st century.

Sure. As long as you have a 4:1 [current (within a year) : 10+ years] I remember back when thread/story ratio.

Depends. How relevant is the comment when compared to the current state of Hooker-ing/Providing/*Whoring (so some people don't have to point it out).

Says the guy whose hobby persona is based on a literary character by Oscar Wilde. That has an alter ego based on a comic book character. Gotta love the irony. Originally Posted by blowpop

DG...you wouldn't have liked the Cedar Lounge. Motel Ollie was right down the street and stayed plenty busy. It was 3 dollars for "a little while" and 5 for all night.
