Stupid things Trump has done

Please feel free to add to the list!

Trying to overturn an election and thinking he could get the DOJ and Mike Pence to go along with him.

Taking on Rudy Giuliani and Sidney Powell as unpaid legal advisors

Endorsing candidates like Herschel Walker and Kari Lake in the primaries who had a poor chance of winning a general election

Making sure candidates who can win general elections, like Jeff Flake, didn't run by threatening to primary them.

Withholding funds allocated by Congress to try to get Ukraine to investigate bogus conspiracy theories

Threatening to prosecute his political opponents, for being his political opponents

Telling Republicans not to vote early

Turning a $5 million judgement for allegedly defaming and sexually abusing E. Jean Carroll into $88.3 million in judgements by his inability to keep his mouth shut. He kept defaming her, after he'd already been ordered to pay her $5 million for defaming her!

Badmouthing Kangaroo Engoron, the judge who ultimately ordered Trump to pay $450 million to the State of New York. Leticia James was “only” seeking $370 million, and probably never dreamed her team would get close to that number. But she underestimated the vengeance of a judge who was repeatedly maligned by Trump.

Keeping classified documents at Mar a Lago for bathroom reading after the DOJ told him to hand them in.

Tweeting “Mike Pence didn’t have the courage to do what should have been done” while the crowd at the Capitol was out of control, and otherwise sitting on his ass watching Fox News the afternoon of January 6.

Chase Oliver for president!
... Trump actually believing that the FBI and DOJ would give him
a fair shake in the 2020 election after their OUTRIGHT LYING
concerning "Trump/Russia collusion" back in 2016.

... Trump actually believing that the FBI/DOJ would investigate
to see if the Hunter laptop was REAL during the ten months
they had it before the 2020 election.

... Trump actually believing that the FBI/DOJ would be honest and
surely clear Him with the Hillary Clinton bullshit "Steele dossier"
that President OBama and VP Biden KNEW Hillary was peddling.
(See the Durham Report for full details)

... Trump deciding to NOT see Hillary Clinton - and for that matter
- OBama and Biden be prosecuted for the bullshit "collusion" narrative.

... Hmmmm... Those ALL seem rather stupid decisions there
on Trump's part, sorry to say. ...

... No worrys - the other lads will have more.

... Fair enough there, mate.

... But to also be fair - Trump has admitted to the mistakes
there that I mentioned.

It’s so much stupider than that boys.

And me political insiders call bullshit on Trump admitting any mistake … without a major brouhaha or doubling down on it first. Exhibit 1 - Barack Obama’s birth certificate.

hahahahahahahahah

I'll be honest, Tiny. None of what you listed has anything to do with why I am a never Trump voter. If you just had one word, "character", that would have more than sufficed and I'd have a lot more to add to this discussion, but I know that is not the focus of your thread.

Edit: I will admit though, a lot of what you listed directly has to do with his character because I don't want to contradict myself and I should not have said "none" before reading your entire list so my bad.

His inability to tell the truth. In an undistorted/ obfuscational way. Trump has an allergy to ever being truthful. His businesses, the valuation and then the never saw that coffee boy , (less than)
confessions. If he could just once own his fuck ups, I'd at least give a small ounce of respect. But I'd never trust him to vote for him. He's like the frog and a scorpion story.

Trump is and will always be a villain in every story. That's his legacy

Nope. Never read “his” books. We all know how much he had to do with any of that shit, LOL!

But I do remember when he skulked into a press conference and read (poorly as I recall) him admitting Obama was born in the US, and them skulking off. Didn’t make eye contact with anybody.

Shirley you remember that bit of abject dipshittery, dontcha?

How stupid is spreading dangerous lies about the relief efforts for Hurricane Helene?

Is this his October surprise? It’s too damned stupid to be surprise. And typical Trump heartlessness.

Of course we all know how Trump gets all squirrelly when it comes to climate events like hurricanes. From sharpies to jump shots to Space Lasers, he’s a walking dumpster of bullshit.

C'mon - when it comes to citizenship questions the trumps are throwing a stone in a glass house. Einstein visa ring a bell?

Obama was born of a US citizen. That alone qualifies him as a citizen. You can easily look up the requirements on any US.gov website. His mom was born in Kansas for God's sake. Did you miss the day in civics where they talked about immigrants and citizenship, or is this just the standard GOP FOX patriots talking point?

Einstein visas, which Donald helped his wife get, are reserved for national laureates, and people who bring exemplary social, science, or economic scholarship to a country. Maybe Olympics champions etc..Not somebody who posed for dirty pictures.

Melania might be able to speak a few languages, due to her early upbringing in a multilingual area of the world, but that's the end of it. The Trump's pushing it as something more than that is absolutely ridiculous. She couldn't even come up with her own slogans so she stole Michelle Obama's!

Trump stole Reagan's make America great again,- really the guy has never had an original idea in his life. He stole every dollar from his family, and stole his schtick from Reagan or the Mob. He's a fake and a phony... Humping the flag on stage and gropping it like it was a reenactment of his liaison with E Jean Carroll is just another stupid thing he's done.

It might be easier to talk about and name the things that he's done that wasn't stupid.

selling out the Afghan government and getting nothing in return. Trump bitches about the Afghan withdrawal. He's largely responsible for that fiasco, by not giving the Afghan government a seat at the table and veto power. He dealt Biden an awful hand to play, and then blamed Biden for the inevitable.

His quick fix for Ukraine? Surrender. Ukraine is doing a yeoman's job fighting our 2nd most serious geopolitical enemy, Russia. (Obviously, China is first.) They deserve every weapon they need so long as they have the will to fight.

Trump's allegiance to Putin and Russia is borderline treasonous, and may be far worse if he's already sold nuclear triad secrets to Russia. i bet Jack Smith knows the dirt on that, but for strategic reasons, hasn't charged Trump.
