" Whores have no integrity"/ On Being Judged

I have another online personal blog in which no one there knows what I do for a living on the side. They all know me as the personal trainer. By mistake, however, I realized that I had accidently put my work e mail address on my profile. I didn't think anything of it until an event that happened today. Most people either comment directly on my posts or they send me a private message.
Well, I had gotten into a disagreement with a couple of the other friends there I have on the site and I was immediately lambasted and 'de-friended' from their accounts.
I thought, okay, well, I'm sorry you had to take this disagreement so personally....and then to my surprise, this husband and wife sent me a couple of the most hateful e mails I've ever received. Apparently they had Googled my work e mail addy and naturally it must have taken them to my ad sites. They went on to insult me in every way possible about being a whore, being a liar, a thief ( who knows where that came from) and 'fucking married men'. It was like, wow. The main comments were " You're a whore and you have no right to judge other people." JUDGE? Excuse me? What exactly we're they doing to me? Judging me by my profession! As if once people find out what do for a living, since they don't consider sex work viable, they immediately latch onto that and assume you're therefore an immoral person with no value system or integrity.
My response to that was to say that AS a sex worker, I have a lot more integrity and strength than their narrow minds could ever comprehend. Since I have to deal with ( and all of you understand this, I know) all kinds of different people, that I have people skills, that I'm intuitive and courageous as a sex worker ( despite references, don't we ALL still put ourselves at some risk here??) and that it was sad that what I do for a living has to color every aspect of my life. In other words, if you're a 'whore' you can't possibly be a good person or have a value system. And nothing is further than the truth.

I have to admit being really stunned, and yet not really surprised ( stunned because they had been friends with me on my journal/blog for years) at their virulent attack on my 'integrity' and my value system just because I disagreed with something they said.

It's especially sad when people have to often take that route to cut you down as a woman or when they disagree with you, your opinions immediately mean nothing 'because you're a whore.'
Sad.

With the ladies I prefer to see, I have found more honesty than females in real life. I would like to thinck that those judging you are reacting on shock value. After they have a chance to thinck about, I would hope some will recant and ask for understanding.
I'm sorry, Ava.
I'm sure she might have found "her" man fucking a prostitute, maybe there is some bitterness there. I myself never really thought highly of a hooker in my past (not knowing much about it). And now living it I see it really different now. And I have told a couple "friends" what I do, and the first time someone gets mad its always "your selling your pussy". Its all good when they think you are a walking ATM. Soon as you cross words its the FIRST thing brought up. Hell bring up something that is gonna hurt me. Tell me that I need welfre and foodstamps to maintain my home, now that would hurt! Even if you decide to get married one day NEVER tell him about your past. People use it as a weapon against you! Girl, ignore simple minded people who may just be jealous of your fabulous life
I'm so sorry that this happened.

It's amazing how you can have a wonderful relationship with people until they find out you are an escort it completely invalidates the respect they have on you. They assume what you are doing is disgusting yet there are people that wipes asses for living that get more really respect than a Hooker.

They have no right to judge you because they are no closer to heaven than they are. As long as you treat people right God doesn't give a flying fuck if you suck a little cock on the side.

The vast majority of people have no real understanding or appreciation of what an upscale type provider is or does. Most of America are total jerks in this regard and it is not surprising that your PT clients fall in that category like the rest. I know you are upset at being insulted and put down but you should take the high ride and pity their ignorance and small mindedness about all issue regarding sex.
Since they aren't associated with the sex industry and probably have never ventured much past their own relationship. Although you maybe shocked by their reaction, you can't possibly expect them to look past the seedy stigma and criminal aspects of sex work. After all if you really think about it you didn't hesitate to state in this forum that you are a Personal Trainer, but apparently kept strict diligence in allowing anyone in your other forum that you engage in Sex Work on the side. I understand how you feel about the situation you're in with that couple, and I am sure anyone here can sympathize with you. But it simply is the nature of the beast.
As long as my mother, or kid don't find out anyone else really don't matter. If they were true friends they would had asked you why you felt you have to do what you do, and told you to be safe! They would had acted like they cared about you in some sort of way. Fucking 2 face people!
I'm actually a very sensitive person and even though I could say that it didn't hurt, it certainly did, especially coming from people that I thought were open-minded based on their comments in my blog...apparently they weren't.

They were not friends.... They were acquaintances ....our lives are a revolving door. People come in and leave all the time... This was just a lessonfrom the universe - there are few true friends

Sorry this happened.... While painful now, in the scheme of things it is insignificant

Ava, you are one of the strongest (mentally and physically) ladies I've ever met, and I know you'll brush this off. Besides . . .

Good luck sweetie!

It always puzzled me how biased people can be about pay for play. When my friends ask me how I can afford "XYZ", i tell them that I meet generous men on line and they support me financially, hinting that I have ads on various sugar daddy sites.

Usual response is "you go girl! wish i were single and could do that". Now, if they found out that while I am indeed meeting generous gentlemen online but do so via escort ads, they would be mortified.

Go figure ....

Ava, I bet that was very awkward! Even if prostitution was legal and a legitimate occupation...there will always be the *holier than thou* people...who will criticize and judge us. I know you must have felt insulted and hurt...but, you're a beautiful and intelligent woman...this lifestyle doesn't define who you are. You have many qualities...being a hotass escort is only one of them!! (lol)

Don't let those mean-spirited people...live rent-free in your mind hon!
