Where The Dollar Did the Best in 2014 to Hobby Destinations

So I read that more vacations are booked on the day after Christmas than any other day, which I believe because I was doing the same. So I got to thinking about any countries where the dollar will go further, especially those that are known for travel in the hobby. So here goes:

Country / Currency / How Much the Dollar Improved in 2014

Russia / Rouble / 65.3%
Argentina / Peso / 29.6% (Official Rate)
Colombia / Peso / 20.5%
Brazil / Real / 12.8%
Mexico / Peso / 12.3%
Europe / Euro / 11.5%
Australia / A$Dollar / 10.0%
Canada / C$Dollar / 7.9%
Costa Roca / Colon / 7.7%
New Zealand / N$Dollar / 6.9%
United Kingdom / Pound / 5.5%
India / Rupee / 2.7%
China / Renminbi / 0.5%
Phillippines / Peso / 0.1%
Thailand / Baht / (0.5%)

For Argentina, the black market rate is much more used and is almost double the official exchange rate so in reality the dollar improved much more in Argentina than even the above indicates.

Does this info make anyone want to make or change their plans on their next trip abroad??

Asia rates can vary depending on what you're looking for. A high-end, educated escort conversational in English are usually found in Hong Kong, Singapore and Shanghai and are in-line with U.S. rates of several hundred dollars per hour as a starting point.

If you are willing to forsake language skills, pretty much all Asian countries have escorts available. A happy medium--meaning reasonable rates along with reasonably good ability to communicate and interact---in my opinion would be Thailand or the Philippines.

So Russia is the cheapest . . .if you live.

Maybe this will flood Europe with Russian hookers. That should lower the average there over-all.
When I was in Madagascar several years ago two for the night was US80. For a Benjamin you had doubles with enough left over for a case of beer. And them women, being of mixed ancestry, were knock out gorgeous, looked like extras in a Beyonce video.

I can only imagine your $ goes farther these days.
