At first I heard they would try and legalize it. They should have tried that and then accept decriminalize it. Not surprising most men are for it and most women are against it. Legalize / Regulate / Tax - the NY way. As soon as it is legalized, it will be heavily regulated, and you can expect additional taxes / licences / permit fees that will return it to what it is now.

And I'm sure if legal everyone will declare all income. LOL. I'd love to see the write-offs for business expenses
