I have some family members visiting KCMO tomorrow...we arer looking for a parks or campgrounds around Kansas City....one withen hour to hour & half distance.....picnicing/hiking/chilling

There's a nice lake in Lawrence, and some camp grounds around the lake.

Well Weston was awesome! quiet and secluded...had ribeyes on the grill with corn on the cob! Yummy!......The family came late last night and left early this morning....so it was just me and my friend........we snuck in the woods to take nekkid pics...will post later!

The BEST part of the day was coming across a VW {slug bug} show going on in weston....alot of old cool vw and vw vans were there!
