But the unified, group-think desire among "journalists" to see Twitter burn is from fear they can't censor their critics. That's it.

Musk/Twitter haphazardly rolled out the pay for a checkmark program. Someone impersonated Markey, got a checkmark and was putting out tweets. Markey was made aware and called out Elon. Elon made a snarky comment back and Markey put Elon on notice to right the ship at Twitter and fix the problems or he'd ensure the government steps in to do it for him... with oversight and regulation.

But let's ignore that context and gin up more conspiracy bullshit

It certainly couldn't be because Musk fucked up, it has to be because of censorship of a critic.

And Dick Cheney didn't shoot that guy in the face. It was really an alien. An extraterrestrial one, who was illegal. Consequently the Space Force was really created to build a wall around the Earth, which is flat, to keep out the illegal aliens (the grays). Mexico is going to pay for that wall.
