Friend of mine in the Phoenix recommends "Petite Maison" petitemaisonaz.com. French Restaurant.

It does have a small dining room (33 indoor, 44 outdoor). I don't have first hand knowledge of the place, but I trust my friend's recommendation.

Well, Jeri, since you haven't gotten many straight answers here, and since this post hasn't been moved to the Arizona board, let me try to give you a straight answer here! My ATF and I (both foodies) have visited Phoenix a couple of times. Here are our faves:

Best Mexican that either of us have ever had, anywhere! We have been there three times in two visits to Phoenix! Don't let the appearance of the place scare you off:

Great bbq in Gilbert:

Outstanding bruschetta! In fact we've never gotten beyond the bruschetta on the menu! Right across the street from Joe's Real BBQ (above):

Decent food (not great), but a neat venue if you are old enough to have grown up in the Alice Cooper era (yep, showin' my age here...). Up in Phoenix proper, across the street from the AZ Diamondbacks baseball stadium:

Enjoy!
