Does anyone else find it just a little bit crazy that Congress is planning to take a vote on banning tik tok but can’t find it worthwhile to fund the Ukrainian people’s defense.

Or the Senate border bill. Just shows that it's all politics for the Republicans rather than governing. Originally Posted by 1blackman1Why is a border bill needed? Fuck Ukraine. Protecting US kids is far more important. Originally Posted by JacuzzmeThere’s no reason we can’t do both.

Sneaking into the country is already illegal, your attempt to deflect blame notwithstanding. All that needs to happen is for it to be enforced. Stop the illegal invasion its tracks and there’s no need to increase the bureaucracy, which is all that lame “immigration” bill was about. Well, that and sending more money into the Ukraine shitshow. It’s not illegal to stop them from coming in, and Ukraine isn’t a nato county. You must’ve put your brain on backwards this morning. The border bill is still the most humane and effective way of limiting immigration to legal means.

As far as Ukraine is concerned you need to think it through. NATO wants Putin to lose the war in Ukraine. We support NATO’s goals when it comes to opposing Putin. Therefore we should support Ukraine’s fight against Putin’s regime. That’s not what you said. Land disputes in Eastern Europe aren’t are problem, getting involved in them does nothing but deplete resources that could and should be used here at home.
