I watched "Skyfall" last night

Try not to put in any spoilers.

007 is now complete.

Looking at the video of Shang Hai made me feel sad there this city (and country) was growing and we are going to lose 4 more years to incompetence and stagnation (if we're lucky).

Looking at London was like looking at a stately old place that had accepted it's lower place in the world.

Nobody wants glowing green lights on your pistol when sneaking around in the dark (that is in the commercial) and no one wants your pistol to second guess your need to shoot.

On a scale of 1-10 I give this movie a 9. Okay, I have to give it a 10 because I didn't doze off even once.

I have heard providers doze off when you are having sex with them...

I have had the SW (they work hard for the money you know) go to sleep in my car. One while literally on the job. Drove around while they got in a nap. Then again, this has absolutely nothing to do with this thread which I don't think you even realize. So sad.

Saw Skyfall last night too. It is a better Bond film. I had the same feeling about Shanghai. About 10 years ago when dryshipping stocks where going gangbusters I saw the top ten lists of metropolitan skylines in the world. Most were Chinese.

London looks a bit like New Orleans: somebody needs to take a huge powerwasher to it.

I don't like the plot trick they use in '24' and this film where they can track you real time on cameras throughout a city from some centralized location. Just don't think the technology is there yet even though London has cameras everywhere. The trick is overused and actually makes the suspense melodramatic.

That was THE MOST STUPID MOVIE, soooo much more stupid than Casino Royale.

1.No one would put the names of every undercover agent you have on one list LOL!!

2.There aren't enough real "terrorist groups" in the whole world to account for a handful of such agents, much less that huge role call on that stupid list.

3."take the shot," "take the shot"
Now that's a phrase no one would ever really say, but somehow it's in every bad movie of the last ten years!

4.Oh and now Bond is supposed to risk life and limb because M is going to lose her job if he doesn't solve this....Lose her fucking job?

btw Craig's voice is horrible in this movie and sounds like he's sick. Physically he looks 60 years old. There's a problem with the "habits" of this actor.

Oh and another thing..

He's on the cover of every magazine on the rack right now....disgusting.

Man, you can be one very crabby guy at times.

Well if they're going to spend one billion dollars bribing every magazine editor on the planet to promote their film it should at least be not just a peice of crap.

Daniel Craig is the only actor who is actually like the Bond Fleming really wrote about, not the panzy-ass Roger Moore or P. Brosnan.

But Craig's got some serious issues man and need some rehab or something.

Seems like it was everything a Bond movie typically plays out to be. I won't post a spoiler but you obviously didn't follow the movie very well if you think that was the point of his actions.

So if you hate them so much why go in the first place.

I enjoyed, it was entertaining, especially in IMAX.
