Sometimes the hobby is like an IQ test - you failed. The scam that is Amber is well-known and just a quick search here of her name would have revealed that to you. Sorry you had to learn the hard way...

Not sure if anyone saw Trafficked with Marianna van Zeller couple weeks ago. Think it on Natgeo channel can just watch episode on demand for Romance Scams. Didn't get into specific sites, and naturally hilited the big $ scammers, but imagine same techniques for smaller fish. She basically interview the scammers in Ghana up the food chain, where it is big business. See how quite sophisticated they can be in gaining a Mark's trust while sucking up the dollars. We probably victims of smaller fish, but interesting techniques. So when you give your phone number it goes to lists sold within the industry, and pics can be used to reassure Mark you are real. Fortunately, nobody here getting taken for 4, 5, even 6 figures. Some advantage to our cheapness lol
