In Need of screening and advertising advice

hello everybody, I am a new provider to the hobby and wanted some advice on the best way to screen clients and advertise my services. Of course my first initial thought was to post on Backpage (where I am currently posted) eek! but upon reading a few forums on here I see now that that may be a bad idea because of LE.
