VISITING Des Moines Iowa

Good Morning I have a few questions I am hoping for some answers to.
I want to visit Des Moines Iowa for a week. Any experienced advice on What area should I stay in? Should I Hotel or Airbnb, Are there any reputable strip clubs for entertainment, and are there NO NO areas to avoid? Is there a specific tab on the (eccie) site to post visiting information? I thank you in advance for your time and knowledge

There are several nice hotels in West Des Moines. The Lumberyard is one of the few decent Gentlemen’s club located at 1504 NE 54th Ave. I would recommend avoiding downtown Des Moines.

Just west of the river (also just west of downtown) but still inside the highway loops (north of 235).
