What happened to the trooper was awful and I hope the scumbag that shot him spends the rest of his miserable life in prison.

But are you trying to tell us that because this cop was murdered by someone he stopped that the next cop who stops someone gets a free pass to kick a handcuffed drunk who is lying on the ground because the cop was irritated by the drunk's belligerent mouth?

I'm from Michigan.. And familiar with that area.. Its filled with a lot of crazy ass militia types that feel that the US should be like the wild wild west.. It was probably one of those that shot him.
