Today I was required to

Change my password in order to even read a thread. I also had to fill in where it said
New email address:
Confirm new email address :

I don't have a new email, but I had to put it in the space provided in order to get into my account. Can you explain this to me please? Or at least check on my account to see why I had to do it? I'm lost as to why this happened?

Same thing happened to me last summer. About 2 weeks later it seemed to straighten itself out.

I'm not a staffer, but...

I have a note in my pw manager that ECCIE required me to change my password last Summer because I hadn't changed it in 2 years - which was true. Some sort of automatic security feature, I assumed.

Can't comment on the e-mail question.
