There was once a time when we could say there are no federal laws against prostitution, only local. That is why it can be legal to run a brothel in Nevada. What I will never understand is why this millionaire did not have a high price Escort, in his home State, or in Florida, come to his hotel? Unless the risk of being caught in a trashy spa is something that gives him his thrills, on top of the act itself!

It ought to be pretty easy to get a hung jury in a case like this. All you need is a few men on the jury who refuse to convict because they know the law is unconstitutional. The hobbyists in Florida should stand outside the court house the day of Bob's trial and pass out FIJA flyers. (Fully Informed Jury Association- an organization that is empowering juries to act according to their conscience.) If people vote their conscience, the only way Bob could lose is if everybody on the jury was a right wing Christian, and that would be highly unlikely. If juries all over the country start refusing to convict in cases like this, LE will be wasting tax payer money to pursue them. Everybody needs to register to vote and show up for jury duty. Hobby people need to demand jury trials.

Y'all should understand two terms - "Civil Asset Forfeiture" and "Delayed Notice Warrants". If you do, you'll know why these stings are really happening, and why it's a game changer for everyone.

The only assets needed to commit prostitution are a dick and a pussy and a place to play, are they going to hold the property owners liable for having a blind eye to the reality of the situation and take away the shopping centers that Suzy was renting? Are they going to take the computers everybody is using to find each other? Kind of funny and ironic that the Patriot Act is being used to go after Bob. Are they going to take his Limo? Isn't there a limit to how much they can take? Can they take everybody's assets for speeding, too, or does it have to be a federal crime? I still say it ought to be pretty easy to hang a jury for something like this if you can find a good trial lawyer. Problem is most people would rather roll over and squeal than go through the humiliation of a trial. Bob is a hero. I'm going to be praying for him.

Actually, there was a recent unanimous SCOTUS ruling that the limitations placed on civil asset forfeiture do apply to the states. They have ruled that asset forfeiture that is in excess of what the punishment for the crime would be is unconstitutional.

I think people will be sacrificing most of the assets to the wives who will be divorcing them for becoming embroiled in prostitution scandals.
