the rules apply equally to SC and myself as they do you. we have both had enough points and bans to prove that.

And MSNBC, CNN and the rest of the left wing media were calling Trump Xenophobic and Racist on 1/22/20 when he instituted the first travel ban. So were Democrats in the house and senate. Now they are all saying he didn't act soon enough. Hindsight is always 20/20



These fucking shows are not news whether they are on Fox or CNN. Call it fake news if you want or don't. It really isn't news at all. They are talking heads filling airtime by spouting their opinions. The difference between Fox and CNN is CNN calls people like Chris Cuomo and Don Lemon anchors. Fox accurately calls them hosts. Even the hosts like Hannity go to the trouble of repeating that they are hosts and they are giving opinions and their guests are generally giving opinions.


Bill O'reilly did the best job of cutting through the BS but even he gave opinions. It was usually how he opened his show. Damn shame he turned out to be such an asshole off screen.



Citing any of those shows as news is idiotic though. They are taking the news of the day and putting their perspective on it. That's all. If you want to use the clips to make a point that they do or don't know what the fuck they are talking about or even that they are promoting a particular agenda that's fine with me. Pointing to them and saying it's news is as misleading as they are and it shows a lack of intellectual honesty.

Cronkite was a liberal-progressive but you never knew by his broadcast. I never knew it til long after he retired. He didn't offer opinions he reported the news. I remember watching him sign off for the last time. "And that's the way it is".


No other anchor, that I know of, has come close to earning the level of trust that Cronkite had.
