There is another gun control push coming...

....from a fake group who want to usurp your rights. Ever hear of MDAGSA? That stands for Mothers Demand Action for Gun Sense in America. Never heard of it? How about One Million Moms for Gun Control? You may have heard of them. They are the same group with the same spokespersons and leaders. They rebranded themselves because of the phrase "gun control". They want to fool you into thinking that they don't want gun control but "common sense gun laws" which is the catch word of the time.

Yes, it is from earlier this year but the story is about the name change and the deceit. This is what they claim to be about now;

· Ban assault weapons and ammunition magazines of more than 10 rounds.
· Require background checks for all gun purchasers.
· Report the sale of large quantities of ammunition to the ATF.
· Limit the scope of concealed weapons laws at the state level.

Notice none of these "goals" have anything to do with crime just gun owners. I mentioned that leadership. Who are we talking about? According to the Huffington Post Shannon Watts is a stay at home mom who got active because of Newtown, CT.

Go to her Linkin page and it is a slightly different story. Since 2008 she has been the president of Voxpop Public Relations. Not exactly a stay at home mom. If you look up her business then you find that she has several clients and a different name; Shannon Troughton.

Further research shows that Troughton/Watts has worked for democratic governor Mel Carnahan and GE Communications. This stay at home mom was in charge of a $15 billion department. So now she is bringing her 20+ years of experience and agenda to an astro turf rally near you.

The ironic thing is that in Newtown the number of gun purchases has doubled since the shootings, so they get it.

To conclude, the gun grabbers have gone silent with a new name and a stated "new" agenda. Expect them back with the next major gun crime.
