Italians of color?

In a providers ad posted today she describes herself as " A rare mix of Italian and white"
What color are those Italians anyway?? Sorry I have an inquiring mind.

From old school, Italians were usually described as olive skinned. Meaning a bit darker than Caucasian, but not as dark as AA or Hispanic.
