Pet Blood Donors ... An Act Of Kindness Could Save Lives

Most of you may not be aware but pets are able to donate blood.

An available supply is detrimental in severe cases. It saves the lives of animals who are in life-threatening situations.

I had a pet that needed a blood transfusion or she would've died at the extremely early age of 6 wks old. Without it, her life couldn't continue. Thankfully, she got one!

Synthetic alternatives aren't an option. The real stuff is in demand. Please consider it! Your furbaby can help save other furchildrens' lives!

If your pet is healthy, no pre-existing or current conditions and in their early - mid years, they're eligible to donate.

Ask your veternarian or animal ER. They're more than happy to give more details!

The gift of blood is more precious than you can imagine!

Did you know ... ?

Dogs have 12 blood types. Cats have 3.

Check out the facts about greyhounds and blood donation. They are universal donors and because of their size, they can donate once a month, more often than humans. If you ever see one of them around, ask if they have donated lately and you might be surprised!
