Where would you go?

I was reading an article on here:
http://eccie.net/showthread.php?t=917366

and it got me to thinking.. what if all the sites were gone tomorrow?
Im talking Eccie, P411, BP, TER, and everything else.
Where would you go to find new girls?
And ladies, what would your new means of advertising be?
I'm sure some of you men have your ATF's and I know most ladies have their regulars...but where would you go if you were looking for someone new?

Do you think these sites shutting down would ever happen? I know it happened with craigslists escort section, so I wouldn't be surprised if BP's escort section disappeared at some point as well... but what about the other major sites listed above?

Just curious
For example:
When ASPD shut down not much longer ...ECCIE appeared to replace it.

I don't really worry about it anymore...when one site shuts down there will be another to replace it.

Would this scenario make all providers essentially UTR?
I have ascertained that the majority of UTR started as strippers and/or escorts. Start the search at the strip club, perhaps, or an escort agency. It would make for higher costs involved without the knowledge of subsequent and (somewhat) expected benefits. Sugar babies are nothing new, though. Perhaps the juco campus would result in an experience just as rewarding, given the time value of money, and the thrill of the chase.
Where ever my favorite joined. i joined after aspd died, who knows

Sites come and go. There will always be a replacement. You would have to think, that someone is working on a new site as you started this thread.
Google Escort Sites. Anything about Sex. And most Porn site's will have advertisement's links.

The worst problem to think about would be, what if the Stock Market Crashed, and the value of the Dollar declined to nothing.
Government really went to shit in a hand basket. Then legalized prostitution, the girls would have to get a license along with a tax id, keep record of clients, or a time log like over the road drivers, along with a required physical every 30 days, which the physician would to stamped the providers license. on top of all this the provider would have to keep a log of all ads posted showing a value on their services, so copies can be summited with their tax information.
Running a small business, and Uncle Sugar wanting his cut.
I guess this would be the same as the government start's legalizing pot, and it's happening.
I don't think a provider could claim a non for profit business. There is a lot of profit to be made in this business.
BP isn't going anywhere. They make too much money.

ECCIE was around before ASPD shut down, but most folks didn't know about it because it was mainly Texas folks on it. There was another site created by a former MOD of ASPD, but it didn't get the traffic that ECCIE does.

No matter what, there's always a back up somewhere and people will eventually find their way there.

There were escorts/hookers/courtesans before the internet. You just have to know the right people. I'm so glad my mentor taught me the "old school" way of getting clients.

Then we'd have bigger problems, because whatever destroyed the internet. So... escorting would probably be on temporary hold as we try to survive the Netpocalyse (asteroid hit, anarchical collapse, etc) and rebuild civilization.

Destiny, you can come hang out in my underground bunker/man cave... bring those stockings and heels. In fact.. I'll just extend the general invite to you and select other women... LOL

Maybe one can bite your tushy to pass the time

IN GENERAL... I think that if those sites all went belly up because of some crackdown, that someone would be forced to either put up a new site, if ONLY to take advantage of the traffic/advertising revenue. Given the amount of people who visit this site, it would not take long. Sex sells.

If all sites were banned, it would go underground like Silk Road.

Speaking as a strictly hypothetical situation, the marketplace would revert to the way it was (more or less) in the early 80's and earlier. I used to play in a band with a guy who worked for one of the automobile manufacturing facilities in our area in the early 80's and I was constantly amazed by the information he was able to convey regarding UTR brothels and providers in the KC area. When in doubt, follow the money!
