For those geeks out there

There have been a few threads about being safe and secure when it comes to your browser history and emails.

Well there are PORTABLE versions of email and web browsers. Difference? These are tweaked so when they install on a USB thumb drive, the program runs from the usb drive, stores its data/history etc on the usb drive so you can hide it.

Now using these at a job means they can still see where you go via the web proxy they use but for the home use so the SO cannot find it.. very useful

Yup, I use Opera Portable on an encrypted thumbdrive at work (not for browsing here, I wouldn't do that from my work pc) but for standard email and web browsing. After you close the window, it blows away all history on the computer-leaving it only on my thumb drive.
