The Metamorphosis of Adjectives and Photography

OK. This is Rita Hayworth. She was described in a press release for "Gilda" as a "curvy femme fatale" and "dynamite in a black dress". She is pretty much fully dressed in this picture.

I would go see this "curvy" fully dressed woman if this was all there was in her showcase, in a freaking heartbeat. What happened? Truth in advertising? Phone cameras? Anybody wants to know what's hot and what's curvy, here ya go.

There is no turning back, phildo. The days of defining curvy in that manner are long gone.
As long as it is a woman, she should have curves. If something doesn't have curves, its probably a man.
Curvy is cool until it means chubby and then it's out, and if it's a chubby and it's out, it probably IS a man.
